Commutable form York or Malton - on a bus route from York or Free parking available.
We are looking for someone with a great personality and some office admin experience to support the Purchasing team for a company based just outside of York.
This is a great opportunity for someone to develop their office skills within a modern, forward thinking company.
To carry out a varied selection of duties including, but not limited to:
1.Negotiating and agreeing Supplier T&Cs
2.Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing suppliers
3.Creation of Part Numbers/Validation of Quotations
4.Raising Purchase Orders
5.Checking and Recording Order Confirmations
6.Checking and forwarding e-licences to Logistics department
7.Assisting with Order Queries
1.Ability to build and develop relationships internally and externally.
2.To be self-motivated and be able to demonstrate the ability to prioritise work
3.Experience of working within a pressured environment
4.IT literate with a good working knowledge of Word, Excel and e-mail
5.Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
1.A team player attitude, with emphasis on team goals and the passion to work beyond their defined role to ensure the entire team's success.
2.Previous experience within the IT industry
3.Qualifications and/or previous training relevant to the role
